To accelerate our growth in the Americas, we are seeking an ambitious and commercially astute Commercial Lead for the LATAM region with deep agronomic expertise and a proven track record in the biologicals sector. This is a pivotal role for a technical sales professional ready to build markets, forge strategic partnerships, and drive the adoption of our innovative portfolio across key agricultural hubs.

The Opportunity
You will be the commercial engine for our key product lines: pheromones, biopesticides, and biostimulants. This is not just a sales role; it’s a blend of strategic business development, technical support, and market leadership. You will identify and develop new opportunities, manage key distributor relationships, and provide the agronomic insight that turns product potential into commercial success—specifically within the high-growth Latin American market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the commercial strategy for Crop IQ’s sustainable product portfolio across Latin America.

  • Identify, negotiate with, and manage key distributor and strategic partner relationships in target countries.

  • Provide high-level technical agronomic support and training to partners and key end-users.

  • Drive market development initiatives to build demand and awareness for biological solutions in the region.

  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform product and commercial strategy.

  • Collaborate closely with our R&D and marketing teams to champion the voice of the customer and the market.

  • Achieve and exceed ambitious sales and growth targets.

Essential Requirements: Experience & Skills

  • Industry Experience: A minimum of 8–10 years of proven commercial experience in sales and business development specifically within the biological products sector (pheromones, biostimulants, or biopesticides).

  • Regional Expertise: Extensive commercial experience and a robust network in the LATAM market, with a specific focus on:

    • Brazil

    • Colombia

    • Peru

    • Argentina

    • Paraguay

    • Ecuador

    • Costa Rica

  • Technical Background: A strong technical agronomy background, with demonstrable expertise in sustainable crop protection and plant health products.

  • Language Skills (Essential):

    • Fluent in English.

    • Fluent in Spanish (required for the Andean and Central American markets).

    • Fluent in Portuguese (essential for the Brazilian market).

    • Note: Business communication must be seamless in all three languages to navigate diverse stakeholder relationships across the region.

  • Personal Attributes:

    • A strategic thinker with a hunter mentality, capable of both opening new doors and nurturing long-term partnerships.

    • Comfortable working autonomously in a remote setting, with the discipline to manage a vast territory.

    • Willingness to travel internationally as required.

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to engage effectively with everyone from farmers to C-suite executives.

    • Self-motivated, ambitious, and results-driven, with a history of exceeding targets.
